Two Weeks to Live comes to Sky One next month.
Game of Thrones favorite Maisie Williams has waxed lyrical about working in the comedy genre.
Having portrayed tenacious heroine Arya Stark over the course of eight series, the 23-year-old actress will debut in Sky One’s Two Weeks to Live next week as young misfit Kim Stokes.
It’s a completely new kind of challenge for her and Maisie explained to Digital Spy what made it so refreshing.
“I’ve never worked on a comedy or anything like that,” she noted. “And these boys [actors Mawaan Rizwan and Taheen Modak] were just the most fun to work with and every day was a pure joy.
“I woke up at 4am smiling because I just couldn’t wait to see them and it’s just a different experience. It’s nowhere near as fun doing dramas.”

Meanwhile, Maisie recently weighed in on Game of Thrones‘ divisive final series, which included Arya’s jaw-dropping slaying of the Night King.
“It was just a beautiful end to a decade of my life,” she insisted. “I couldn’t be happier with it, honestly. I was absolutely thrilled.”
Tywin Lannister’s Charles Dance wasn’t so kind in his assessment.
Two Weeks to Live will land on Sky One and NOW TV from September 2. Game of Thrones seasons 1-8 are now available on DVD and Blu-ray.
